A New Project

1 - Mike and Dr. Kim inspect the future Surgery Department.
2 - Hebron International Hospital under construction .
3 - Pharmacy staff at HIH sort the 100 pounds of medicines we hand-carried from Greeley.
Cup of Hope International has been invited to provide training and support in biosand filter manufacture and hygiene/sanitation issues for the new Hebron International Hospital, now under construction in the west suburbs of Phnom Penh, Cambodia. This training could be scheduled as early as next fall.

The entire medical staff will receive the training before they are sent back to their respective provinces to begin health care in their home towns. In addition to being the primary health care providers, the medical teams will implement the use of biosand filters and ceramic water filters in their communities, and monitor the necessary education in hygiene and sanitation.

We are honored to be a part of the solution to the serious health needs of the Cambodian people.
