2009 is shaping up to be an awesome year!

It's just begun and already 2009 has presented itself as a year of opportunity to change the world's water situation. Cup of Hope International is working on plans to go south to the border of Mexico to train additional organizations and businessmen to build Bio-sand water filters.

We also have some invites to return to Cambodia training several groups and organizations there. Our fact-finding trip in October '08 revealed many of the families that have purchased water filters are continuing to use them. Over 150 filters in the Battambang area of North-Western Cambodia have been sold. Many of these were supplied through donations from our U.S. partners who desire only to see better health among the Cambodian people. We are excited for what is in store for the new year, and how much progress may be made in Cambodia's on-going water situation.

Comments:
Yakubu from Nigeria called. He is back in country (U.S.A) and will stop by today! We look forward to seeing him and I will report here. Yakubu has been in Nigeria most of 2008. He worked with Cup of Hope, his church and CAWST to put together a training in bio-sand operations back in 2007.
